522 “Madonnelle”
Only in the center of Rome
The Madonna has been a long-lasting symbol of the Roman people’s wishes and desires for centuries. In this modern era we aim to re- imagine and contextualize what the Madonna means to Rome today.
Each poster comprises a frame, an evocative phrase, and a QR code. The frames, inspired by cultural tradition, symbolize the enclosures of votive Madonnas. Instead of Madonna representations, we've included evocative phrases to pique curiosity about the theme, leading users to scan the QR code for more information.
In essence, our project seamlessly merges tradition with innovation. Through captivating imagery and a compelling narrative, we beckon audiences to embark on a journey of discovery and rediscovery. Our aim is to celebrate the timeless spirit of Rome in the digital age
