As with all universally known realities, Rome is shrouded in a cloud of stereotypes and clichés, which sometimes prevent the profound vitality of a city with a thousand faces from emerging.

In the "eternal city" there is a kaleidoscope of places and emotions all to be discovered and enhanced, a deep energy waiting to surface through the communicative power of Design.

Unexpected Rome is the international workshop born from the collaboration of Isia Rome and Kean University, with the aim of creating exchange and integration among students from different backgrounds, where design, art and culture create the conditions for encounter and multiculturalism.
